1. Who we are

Swordfish is an event commerce platform. We build the event pages, checkout, ticketing, and marketing tools that brands use to sell their own events.

Every event on this platform is listed and sold by the organizer named on the event page. That organizer is the seller of record for your booking. Swordfish operates the technology on the organizer's behalf.

2. Bookings and payments

Your payment is collected by the organizer's payment gateway, not by Swordfish. When your payment succeeds, we confirm your order by email, and by WhatsApp or SMS where you have shared a phone number.

Prices shown at checkout include the taxes stated there, where applicable. The amount you see on the payment screen is the amount you pay.

An order exists only once you receive an order code and a confirmation. If a payment fails or a checkout hold expires, no order is created and any held seats are released for others to book.

3. Tickets and entry

Your ticket is a QR pass tied to your order code. Each code admits the number of guests stated on the order, once. A code that has already been scanned will not admit again.

The organizer may ask for a government photo ID that matches the booking name. Entry is subject to the organizer's rules for the event and the venue, including age limits, dress codes, timing cutoffs, and right of admission.

4. Refunds and cancellations

Each event carries its own refund policy, shown at checkout before you pay. That policy governs your booking.

If the organizer cancels an event, the organizer refunds you according to its stated policy, through the original payment method. Swordfish does not hold your money and cannot issue refunds on the organizer's behalf.

5. Acceptable use

Use the platform honestly. You agree not to:

• Provide false contact details or book under someone else's identity.
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to buy tickets or hold inventory.
• Resell tickets where the organizer prohibits resale.
• Probe, scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with the platform or its checkout holds.
• Use the platform for anything unlawful.

We may cancel orders and block access where we find abuse.

6. The platform's role

Swordfish provides technology to the organizer: event pages, checkout, ticketing, messaging, and marketing analytics. The contract of sale for your ticket is between you and the organizer. Swordfish is not the seller, the promoter, or the venue, and is not a party to that contract.

Questions about the event itself, its lineup, its schedule, or its venue belong to the organizer, using the contact details on the event page.

7. Liability limits

The platform is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, Swordfish's total liability for any claim connected to the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim.

Swordfish is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of an organizer, a venue, or a payment provider. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute connected to the platform.
